Once you've found your dress, take it to a pro who can fit it perfectly to your figure. Most gowns need some sort of alteration, and the scope of work can vary greatly, depending on where you purchase your gown and how many changes need to be made.
Wedding gowns have so many complex details—boning, hems, bustles etc., so remember, this isn’t a job for your local dry cleaner.

Whether you purchased your wedding dress in a boutique, online store or you borrowed a gown from a friend, you can bring it to us to make it perfect fit. HOW IT WORKS
First, you need to make your first fitting appointment. The easiest way to that is to schedule your appointment online.
For brides we recommend starting 2-3 months before the wedding date. Bridesmaids and special occasion should start 6-8 weeks before the event date.
No estimates over the phone or email. We need to see the actual dress and how it currently fits your body to determine exactly what needs to be done. Price also depends on the complexity of your dress.

Typically, the alteration process takes two fitting appointments, but sometimes it requires three. Your first appointment runs about an hour for wedding gowns and a bit less for bridesmaid or formal dresses.
Remember, during your fittings, make sure you wear the same underwear, shapewear and accessories you plan to wear on the actual wedding day. Don’t forget to bring your shoes you plan to wear with your dress.
At the second appointment, likely, your dress will be 100% ready. You’ll see the work that has been done on your dress. You’ll try your dress on and make sure that all your concerns from the first fitting have been fixed, you can move comfortably in your gown and it fits you perfectly.
Your full payment is due at the end of your first dress fitting appointment if you decide to leave your dress for alterations. We accept credit cards and cash.
PRICE
Most tailors will be more than happy to give you a price range for working with them before you get started, but they generally cannot give you a price or estimate for your gown alterations without seeing it in person.
We also won’t be able to give estimates for wedding dresses or formal gowns alteration over the phone. We need to see the actual dress and see how it currently fits your body to determine EXACTLY what needs to be done and give an accurate estimate. Describing the dress over the phone is really not very helpful.
The cost of alterations is based on the complexity and difficulty of each task. Most alterations cost more on bridal gowns than other garments because the fabric is delicate, and the dresses can be complex.
To get an estimate you need to schedule your first dress fitting appointment where we can meet with you, see your dress, assess the fit, determine exactly what needs to be done. This consultation usually takes one hour.
We ask you to pay $30 when you schedule your first fitting appointment and this payment will be counted into your total dress alterations amount.

A: You are responsible for the requirements to your dress we agreed during your first appointment. If you want to change some parts of the work that have been done, you need to pay additional cost for additional alterations.
